This is The Meadows Ranch. The spring thaw and rain completely flood the lower fields for weeks before slowly draining away leaving behind the nutrient rich silt on the fields. This old time, or pioneer ranch, has been worked for over 110 years and is in better production today than it has been in the past number of years. We were encouraged to buy this property by one of the grandson’s of the original owner in 2005. Owning a ranch was a dream of our youth. We are that new breed of ranchers who start in their 50’s. The greatest advantage that we have is adult children who can’t seem to leave the nest. But then, this is for them as well.
